FAQ
How long does it take to service the average pool?
Typically within 24 to 48 hours, the reverse osmosis (RO) process is faster than draining your pool. While you may need to top off the water (losing 10-15% of the pool’s volume), you won’t incur the full water costs associated with draining.
Do you work with all kinds of pools?
Yes, all swimming pools qualify. In fact, fully draining any pool carries some risks. Gunite pools may float if heavy rain occurs while the pool is empty. Fiberglass and liner pools should never be fully drained unless performed by a professional, as it can damage the lining.
What about hot tubs?
No, it’s typically not cost-effective due to the small volume of water and the expenses involved in setting up and breaking down the equipment. In most cases, it’s more efficient to drain the pool and refill it with fresh water.
Can you service a pool filled with well water?
Yes, well water often requires reverse osmosis treatment if it is untreated or not properly filtered before being added to the pool, especially when compared to city water.
Is the equipment loud or obnoxious?
When the equipment is operating, the noise level is comparable to less than half the volume of an air conditioning unit.

How soon afterward can I use my pool?
Your pool will be ready for swimming the day after completion. Typically, only minor chemical adjustments are needed, and after allowing the water to recirculate for a day, you’ll be all set.
Will the process of treating my pool be the same after the water is refreshed?
Yes, the process of treating your pool will remain the same after the water is refreshed. However, you’ll need fewer chemicals for sanitation, as our reverse osmosis process eliminates many of the minerals that typically require additional treatment.
